A portfolio is a visual resume that showcases a model’s body of work. Putting together a portfolio is one of the most important aspects of developing as a model, whether you are signed to an agency or are a freelance model. Your book needs to demonstrate what type of work you want to do (glamour, fashion, commercial/print, catalog, etc.).

It is very important that your portfolio contains the kinds of images found in magazines and other publications. It’s pretty easy to find someone willing to take snapshots of a pretty girl or a handsome guy, but you’ll be wasting your time if the photos are not high quality enough to make an impression and sell yourself.

Images created for portfolios can also find their way onto online modeling communities as well as the physical book.

$30 deposit required to book the photo shoot. Includes basic retouching to remove blemishes and enhance the eyes. Prints and comp cards available at an additional price. We regret to inform you that we no longer give entire sets of unedited images on DVD due to a client posting the entire set on her Facebook page and attributing photo credit to us when the images looked less than optimal quality. We only want our very best work to be seen by the public.

We always recommend using a professional makeup artist for the best results.

* A $50 deposit made via Paypal is required to reserve your headshot photography session time ($125 deposit if you arrange to have a make-up artist). This deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled with less than 1-day notice or if you are more than 1/2 hour late. Otherwise the deposit will be applied and deducted from the session fee. Remainder of session fee is due at the time of the photo shoot.
