Steven Stiefel enjoys attending the Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival on South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2008 with performances by Tiesto, Underworld, Justice, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, MSTRKRFT, Deadmau5, Annie Mac, Eric Prydz,Ferry Corsten, Calvin Harris, Moby, The Crystal Method, Boys Noize, Benny Benassi, David Guetta, Jes, Enur, Pete Tong and Rabbit in the Moon.
Steven Stiefel grew up in Fort Payne, Alabama, the same hometown as country music superstars Alabama, a country music and southern rock band. He has many memories of the group’s annual June Jam concerts, and documenting it was an early highlight in his career.
